2007 UPRRC Annual Meeting

The Upper Peninsula Road Runner Club announced recipients of award winners during the 2007 annual meeting held in Marquette on December 1.

The 2007 Volunteer of the Year Award was awarded to Dan Paul. Dan resides in Gladstone MI, and has organized and ran many races in Gladstone, some of which include: The Chase the Pumpkin 5/10K, Santa Boogie 5k, The New Year's Resolution 5K, and most recently the Veteran's Day 5/10K Run/Walk. The notable aspect of these events is that they all amount to sizable food and financial donations to area food banks run by the Salvation Army and St. Vincent de Paul. Shown presenting the award to Dan Paul is Jody Bergeon, of Escanaba, newly elected secretary of the UPRRC.
