What is UPSTAR?
Upper Peninsula Series of Triathlon/Adventure Races: A series of triathlons all across the Upper Peninsula. Taking an athlete’s, or a team’s, best four races, points will be compiled to give recognition to the region's outstanding athletes. Results will be published in local news outlets... or click here.
How do I join UPSTAR?
If not a member of UPRRC, join the club first. All UPRRC members are eligible to join UPSTAR. Membership in UPSTAR is free; to join UPSTAR, click here. For a list of UPSTAR members, click here.
Scoring System
Individual Scoring: Three age categories
- Adult (18 years of age and up)
- Junior (14 years to 17 years old)
- Youth (14 years and younger).
Each age category will be divided into male and female.
Points will be awarded as follows:
- 200 points for first
- 199 points for 2nd
- 198 points for 3rd
- 197 points for 4th
- and so on...
